Fiona Furacão
Fiona brings seven years’ experience in the fields of education and refugee rights to White Ribbon Alliance UK. She has a master’s degree in Human Rights from the University of York, where she wrote her thesis on the creation of stigma in the British RSHE curriculum. Particularly passionate about queer and trans rights, and free, safe, and decriminalised abortion access for all. She’s hoping to bring her interests and skills to WRA UK to work towards ensuring that SRHR services are better equipped to meet the needs of all service users without discrimination or marginalisation.
When not engaged in WRA UK work, she volunteers for Abortion Support Network (ASN) and studies Sexual Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She is currently based in Barcelona.
